Tinker Bell and Blaze - Disney Comics Group - ★★★.½

SERIES: Disney Fairies Graphic Novel #13
GENRE: Children's Graphic Novel.
PUBLICATION DATE: December 31, 2013.
RATING: 3.6 stars.

꧁ Fourteenth graphic novel of the Disney Fairies series ꧂

❁ Contains twelve stories in all. But don’t be unnerved by the high number. A majority of the stories are just four pages long.

❁ Again, this graphic novel has the Tinker Bell movie characters in the lead roles.

❁ Tinker Bell makes an appearance in all the stories, though not as the key character. I loved seeing Blaze the firefly, but considering his name comes in the title, I would have expected him to pop up in more stories. The few stories that have him are the cutest.

❁ The text is easy to understand, perfect for the target age group of 6-10 year olds.

❁ The illustrations are also really great, with characters resembling their movie appearance.

❁ Most of the stories in this set range from good to great. Only two stories felt a bit silly to me, though they weren’t bad and would probably even work for the target age group. Still, the overall quality of this book is highly satisfactory.

❁ Story-wise ratings:

🧚‍♀️ Once Upon a Time ⭐⭐⭐⭐

🧚‍♀️ Remember Me! ⭐⭐⭐✨

🧚‍♀️ Misunderstood Style ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

🧚‍♀️ The Shiny Thing ⭐⭐⭐✨

🧚‍♀️ A Fast-Flying Fairy Shows Her True Colors ⭐⭐✨

🧚‍♀️ The Missing Butterfly ⭐⭐⭐

🧚‍♀️ The Bad-Mannered Blossom ⭐⭐✨

🧚‍♀️ False Alarm ⭐⭐⭐⭐

🧚‍♀️ A Strange, Strange Star ⭐⭐⭐✨

🧚‍♀️ The Long, Long Night ⭐⭐⭐⭐

🧚‍♀️ A Starless Night ⭐⭐⭐⭐

🧚‍♀️ An Unexpected Adventure ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

Overall average: 3.6 stars. My buddy reader and I both enjoyed the variety of the stories.

Definitely recommended to Tinker Bell fans.

So far, this book is going much stronger than the first combo volume. Keep your fingers crossed for me and my little buddy reader! The next graphic novel is based on our second-favourite Tinker Bell movie, so we don’t wanna be disappointed!
